Energy Efficiency

SPF's closed cell structure stops air infiltration, the chief culprit of most energy loss. Because SPF is fully adhered to the roofing surface, there are no attachment screws providing thermal shorts that could rob energy efficiency from your building and no unsightly screws visible from inside the building. In addition to its other benefits, SPF is seamless, closed-cell insulation. A one-inch thickness has an insulating R-value of 6. When you install SPF over an existing roof, you retain the pre-existing R-value, as well as adding to it.

Taking it a step further, SPF's closed cellular structure does not allow water to travel laterally, unlike other roofing systems.

With SPF, even if a hole is punched completely through the foam membrane, water intrusion will be isolated to the penetration. In most cases, repairs can be made with a tube of caulk. Metal Roof System Application

1. Primer: After proper surface preparation, rusted surfaces are primed with Metal Ready® WB Rust inhibiting metal primer.
2. Caulking: All fastener heads are caulked with Kwik Kaulk® Fastener Grade to prevent leaks.
3. Seam Treatment: All metal seams are waterproofed with butyl tape or durable Spunflex® fabric sandwiched between two layers of base coat.
4. Finish Coat: We apply a white, reflective top coat for durability and energy efficiency.
